*mumbles* you better not leak again *mumbles*
Apparently it's common for water to leak into the passenger footwell from the fresh air vent on the passenger side. I opened it up and put a new seal on it. I also blew out the sunroof drain tubes, all of which were clogged. One spit out a nasty black lugee of grime. It was disgusting

Huehue, I see what you did there.

No you don’t, I forgot to take a picture of the fix. Here’s the problem though:
That crusty shit used to be a weather seal. Replaced it, put it back over its hole

Ok damn fine, I don’t.
Weather seals are the worst to replace, always impossible to get just how they were before. Especially once they get all nasty and brittle.

Look out for errant fire hydrants and wayward lawns

Yeah, I got really worried that it wasn't closing enough so I built a little dam of weather strip around it too

I actually am legit nervous that it’s still going to leak.
Fingers crossed

If you ever come to owning a C4 Vette, beware of replacing the weather seal where the hatch closes. It’s a massive job that takes eternity and the hatch will never close the same anymore.

FYI, the Honda Rust (characteristic of early to late 90s Hondas) can be mitigated by cutting a bit of the rear fender liner where it mates to the flange of the rear quarter panel... cut enough to prevent water accumulation back there
